Surah Al-Fil

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The Surah takes its name from the event.  This Surah has the unique story of the People of the Elephants and the story of Abraham who tried to tear down the Kabah and wipe all traces of its existence. However, Allah destroyed them and defeated them.

The event marks the birth of the Prophet (saw) and is among the miracles of the Prophet (saw) though it was before him. Read More...  

Surah Al-Furqan

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Name of the verse is derived from the first verse. As a Mekkan Surah it is quite suitable for Makkan pagans and speaks of the defending the Quran and the Prophet (saw) is the subject matter of the Surah.

Al-Furqan (Al Firqan) represents the criterion that decides between truth and falsehood, guidance and misguidance, right and wrong, lawful and unlawful.

Qur’an is a revelation from the One Who is Most Blessed. But the rejecters of Tawheed and al-Aakhirah (the hereafter or the unseen, one of the 6 pillars of faith) consider the Quran a fabrication and conspiracy. In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

The biography of the Messenger of Allah (saw) that covers his birth, childhood, prophethood, his mission and his lifetime can be written down in volumes. However for the benefit of young momins, we will selectively focus on the areas that will stand as a significant reminder for strong faith. 

The primary source of evidence used in Seerah is the Quran. Scholars refer to the time of his birth during the pre-Islamic period as the Year of the Elephant. Learning disability is neurological handicap that effects the brains ability to understand, remember or communicate information.
