Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Praise be to Allah, and May His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger, his family, his Companions, and all those who follow his way until the Day of Judgment.
When major catastrophes occur, the entire world comes forward to bring about awareness and ways to support the victims, via the electronic and print media. Abundant donations are collected worldwide, to be given to certain approved and renowned charitable organizations that are well-established with good infrastructure, and well-funded by a steady stream of donors, who contribute generally or for specific programs.
On this unique page “One in a Million”, however, we intend to turn the spotlight to overlooked reliable organizations or individuals, one at a time, that are looking for assistance and do not have the infrastructure or donors they need to fulfill their causes.
Our first two such organizations are Noorani Masjid in Garvebhavipalya, Bangalore, India and Khairiya Muslim Girls school in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Targheeb's role is merely to bring about awareness of projects that require a genuine need.
May Allah make these projects and all other worthy causes a source of goodness and blessing for those who share in fulfilling them and those who benefit from it. Ameen
